Today was one of those days where I had a full plate of work that I didn't fully complete, but I still feel like accomplished. Typical me, typical day. You see, a complete day of work for me is sitting in front of my computer handling stuff for my family, ministry with my husband, and talking with all of you. That doesn't include what must be done in the home as well as outside of it. So many days to get a complete day of work in is hard.
I spent my day pruning through old blog posts, condensing and, removing those that were not beneficial to any of you. I've been trying to sit down and do this for a few weeks. I have finally got it done and, IT FEELS GOOD!
As I'm sure many of you can relate, a mother's job is NEVER complete! We are the backbone to the homefront. (As I'm typing this, my husband just asked me which towel was his in the bathroom. Oh, the simplicity of being a man!) Between making doctors appointments, driving to doctors appointments, supermarket runs, when do we get to relax and focus on what we need to do for us?
I don't know about anyone else, but after accomplishing such a feat, all I want to do is take my bra off, grab the nearest bottle of sparkling cider, my favorite glass, and celebrate my small victory for the day. Why don't you grab your glass and join me?
